Product Description
Recommended as a food source for orphaned or rejected kittens or those nursing, but needing supplemental feeding. Also recommended for growing kittens or adult cats that are stressed and require a source of highly digestible nutrients. Directions: Orphaned Kittens: All kittens should receive the queen's milk for at least two (2) days, if possible. The colostrum milk provides extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Reconstituted KMR Liquid may be fed at a daily rate of two (2) tablespoons per four (4) ounces (? lb) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Kittens' needs will vary and the amount fed will need to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Small and weak kittens should be fed every three (3) to four (4) hours, while larger kittens will do well when fed every eight (8) hours. Weigh the kittens three (3) times a week to assure adequate feeding. Kittens from large litters should be supplemented with KMR. Feed at room temperature. Consult a veterinarian for advice. Food Supplement: Feed KMR Liquid as a food supplement for growing kittens, show cats, old or convalescing cats at a rate of one (1) tablespoon per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight. Pregnant and Lactating Queens: Mix KMR Liquid into the daily ration at the rate of two (2) tablespoons per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) of body weight until two (2) weeks after queening.
