Ruffle the dog's or cat's hair with one gloved hand while applying spray to the dog's or cat's back, sides, abdomen, legs, shoulders, and neck. Apply spray until the dog's or cat's hair is damp to thoroughly wet. Spray 1 to 2 seconds per pound of the dog's or cat's body weight. Dogs or cats with long or dense hair will require the higher rate. Wait until the application area is dry before allowing your pet to get wet, usually around 24 hours.
