Product Description
Recommended any time an animal experiences adverse conditions. Give the indicated amount when a new pet arrives home. Also can be used when traveling (before departure and upon arrival), one to two hours after worming, at birth, prior to supplementing the newborn’s diet with milk replacer, at weaning, when dietary changes occur or as indicated by your veterinarian when pets are treated with antibiotics. If diarrhea or anorexia (loss of appetite) persist, contact your veterinarian. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Newborns Puppies and Kittens: Feed ¼ gram (small breeds) to ½ gram (medium to large breeds) at birth; ½ gram on days 3, 5 and 7 and at weaning. For hand-fed orphans increase to ½ (small breeds) to 1 (medium to large breeds) gram on days 7, 14 and at the introduction of solid food. Post Weaning/older: Feed 1 gram per 10 lbs. of body weight up to 40 lbs. For 50 lbs of body weight or over use 5 grams. Pocket Pets and other small mammals: Under 1 lb use 1/4 to ½ gram at birth and on days 3, 5 and 7. These levels should be given before and after marked environmental changes. Two feedings 3 days apart are recommended. Place gel on food or directly into mouth. Post Weaning/older: Feed 1/2 gram as needed for maintenance.
